📅 Booking
How do I book a session?
+
Click the "Book a Session" button and fill out the form. Choose your preferred date, time, venue, and number of players. After submitting, you'll get a reference number and I'll confirm your slot shortly.
How far in advance can I book?
+
You can book up to 1 month in advance. Same-day bookings require at least a 2-hour lead time so I can coordinate with the court.
How will I know if my booking is confirmed?
+
You'll receive a confirmation via the email or phone number you provided. I usually respond within a few hours. If you don't hear back within 24 hours, feel free to reach out via Facebook or Instagram.
Can I reschedule or cancel a booking?
+
Yes — please notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Late cancellations or no-shows may affect your priority for future bookings.
💰 Rates & Payment
How much does a session cost?
+
Solo sessions are ₱1,500 for 2 hours. Group sessions range from ₱600–₱900 per head depending on how many players. See the full breakdown on the Rates page.
Does the coaching rate include court rental?
+
No — court rental is separate and paid directly to the venue. Rental rates vary by venue and time of day and are shown during booking so you know exactly what to expect.
How do I pay?
+
You can pay via GCash or in person (cash). For GCash bookings, upload your proof of payment when submitting your request. For in-person, you pay on the day of the session.
Is there a travel fee?
+
Yes — ₱200 per hour per head when I need to travel to your venue. This covers commute time and is calculated based on distance from my usual base venues.
🎾 Sessions
How long is a session?
+
Standard sessions are 2 hours. This is the recommended duration for a complete, productive coaching session that covers warm-up, drills, game play, and cool-down.
I'm a complete beginner — is that okay?
+
Absolutely! I love working with beginners. We'll start with the fundamentals — grip, serve, groundstrokes, and basic court rules — and build from there at your own pace.
Do I need to bring my own paddle?
+
Ideally yes, but if you don't have one, let me know during booking and we'll sort something out. Some venues also have equipment available for rent.
Can I bring friends for a group session?
+
Yes! Group sessions are available for 2–4 players. Simply select the number of players when booking. Everyone shares the coaching time, and the per-head rate goes down the more players you bring.
📦 Packages
What's included in a session package?
+
Packages are bundles of solo 2-hour sessions at a discounted rate. The 5-session pack is ₱4,000 (₱800/session) and the 10-session pack is ₱8,000. Each session is tracked and we build a structured progression plan around your goals.
How does package payment work?
+
You pay half upfront and the remaining half after your first session. Or you can choose to pay in full upfront — either works. GCash or in-person cash accepted.
Do packages expire?
+
The 5-session pack is valid for 3 months from first session. The 10-session pack is valid for 6 months. Sessions should be booked at a reasonable pace to make the most of the package.
Can I schedule all my package sessions at once?
+
You can pencil-book your preferred dates when you avail the package, but sessions must be confirmed at least one week in advance so I can coordinate with court availability.
📍 Venues
Where do sessions take place?
+
I coach across multiple venues in Metro Manila and nearby areas including Prinkle Hub, Match Point Racket Club, Sulit Sports Hub, Zentro Sports Hub, Dink and Drink Pickle Garage, and Doc Dalisay Tennis Court. See the full list on the Courts page.
Can I choose my own venue?
+
Yes — you select the venue during booking. Available venues are shown based on my schedule and the time slot you choose. If you have a preferred venue not listed, reach out and we'll see if it's possible.
Who pays for court rental?
+
Court rental is a separate cost paid to the venue — it's not included in the coaching fee. Rental rates are shown per venue during booking so you know what to expect before confirming.
❓ General
What is pickleball?
+
Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It's played on a smaller court with a perforated plastic ball and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Easy to learn, hard to master!
Is pickleball good for beginners with no sports background?
+
Definitely. Pickleball is one of the most accessible racket sports. Within a single session, most beginners can start rallying and playing simple games. That's part of what makes it so fun.
How do I follow MGL Pickleball for updates?
+
Follow on Facebook and Instagram for court updates, session highlights, tips, and new announcements.
